They look like the little bumps on your tongue, especially when you eat something super sour and they all the little bumps seem to stand up. Mmmm... sour patch kids...

they are those berries from that ink berry bush that you can find along the wissahickon. and they LOOK like real berries but we can't eat them...so they mock us.
