Here's my homage to bubble tea. I did another illustration a few years ago, after I went to the Chinese section of Philadelphia and had some very tasty Bubble tea. At the time, I was barely acquainted with Illustrator, so it took me forever to do it. I liked the character, and I thought it would be fun to go back and do another illo with the Bubble girl.

So I'm assuming that you did the type as well? And if so, I'm assuming that you've done some graff? I'm a writer myself, but ever since we had kids, my graffiti activity has pretty much come to a halt.

it tastes like yummy sunshine! well... actually it's a drink made out of tea, milk, and big chewy tapioca balls that you suck through the big fat straw as you drink.

thanks, I do draw a lot of graffiti, but never was much of a graffiti writer. I have loved graffiti ever since the early 80s-breakdancing-Beat-Street-Wild-Style-Run-DMC days. somebody say RAMO!

In LA they call it Boba. And it can be quite delicios! She's cool, I am glad there is finally a boba mascot!
The girl AND the lettering are fantastic! I would love to see a whole series of these! Totally cool!
